.. So I realized Father's Day has past and I never got to write about my wonderful Dad and that's just unacceptable. Here are the 5 things he's taught me:)
1. Be positive. This is the number one thing I think of. He is the most positive person I know and always is encouraging others. I'm pretty sure I would not have made it past my first year of college without him and that dang positive attitude ;) ha.
2. Patience. Now, I'm not saying I'm perfect at this yet but Dad sets a good example. He has to deal with all of our paperwork, bills, calls, etc, etc. and he does it without ever losing his cool.
3. Passion. I don't know if you learn this but he's helped me fuel my passion and dream big. I've traveled the world because of this and he's never stopped me or discouraged me. I also see how much he loves what he does and what his passion is...I think a person needs to find that thing that makes them come alive and do it!
4. Plan. He's always ready for whatever. Probably why he's the Emergency manager...but yeah I'm trying.
5. Learn as much as you can. Challenge yourself. Grow.
So grateful for my Dad...if it weren't for him I'm pretty sure I would have an awful perception of guys haha.
