Christmas!!!

I know it's a little early to post stuff about Christmas but I found this video and didn't want to lose it. It is one of the cutest things ever! and I guess it's never too early to celebrate the birth of our Savior anyway right?! :) ENJOY

anyway

“People are often unreasonable and self-centered, forgive them anyway. If you are kind, people may accuse you of ulterior motives, be kind anyway. If you are honest, people may cheat you, be honest anyway. If you find happiness, people may be jealous, be happy anyway. The good you do today may be forgotten tomorrow, do good anyway. Give the world the best you have and it may never be enough, give your best anyway. For you see, in the end, it is between you and God. It was never between you and them anyway” - Mother Teresa

solo Cristo

One of my favorite songs in Spanish!

No hay nadie como tú, sólo Cristo.
Moriste por mí en la cruz, viviré
para alabar.

awwww

one step forward (award winning 48 hour film project) from ben crowell on Vimeo.

some words from Bono

“Fifteen thousand African are dying each day of preventable, treatable diseases–AIDS, malaria, TB–for lack of drugs that we take for granted.  This statistic alone makes a fool of the idea many of us hold on to very tightly: the idea of equality.  What is happening to Africa mocks our pieties, doubts our concern and questions our commitment to the whole concept.  Because if we’re honest, there’s no way we could conclude that such mass death day after day would ever be allowed to happen anywhere else.  Certainly not North America or Europe, or Japan.  An entire continent bursting into flames?  Deep down, if we really accept that their lives–African lives–are equal to ours, we would all be doing more to put the fire out.  It’s an uncomfortable truth.”
- Bono
“We can be the generation that no longer accepts that an accident of latitude determines whether a child lives or dies–but will be be that generation?  Will we in the West realize our potential or will we sleep in the comfort of our affluence with apathy and indifference murmuring softly in our ears?  Fifteen thousand people dying needlessly every day from AIDS, TB, and malaria.  Mothers, fathers, teachers, farmers, nurses, mechanics, children.  This is Africa’s crisis.  That it’s not on the nightly news, that we do not treat this as an emergency–that’s our crisis.  Future generations flipping through these pages will know whether we answered the key question.  The evidence will be the world around them.  History will be our judge, but what’s written is up to us.  We can’t say our generation didn’t know how to do it.  We can’t say our generation couldn’t afford it.  And we can’t say our generation didn’t have reason to do it.  It’s up to us.”
- Bono

Although Bono talks about Africa, there is injustice, poverty, death in other parts of the world that can't be ignored.

tattoo

I found a tattoo I want!! I might wait for some of my friends to get one with me or I might get it this week...but here it is. The question is where to put it!?!

This (infinite love) with Romans 8: 38-39  underneath it or somewhere.  What do you think?! :)

I'll probably just put the Romans reference but here is what it says--->

For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[a] neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
